What an affiliate link is

When you click a "See the price at …" button and buy, the retailer may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same, with or without that link.

What it does not change

• The ranking of a selection never depends on the commission rate.
• The price comparator also shows retailers we have no agreement with, including when they are cheaper.
• A product can be advised against even though its link is an affiliate link.

How we flag them

• A notice appears before the first commercial link on a page.
• Every offer says whether the link is an affiliate link.
• Outbound links carry the rel="sponsored nofollow" attributes.

Click measurement

Outbound links go through an internal redirect that records an anonymous click. No cookie is set and no persistent identifier is tied to your browsing.

The destination address carries a parameter naming the site and the page the click came from. It identifies SimRigBase to the merchant, never you.
