Fanatec GT DD Pro vs ClubSport DD: PlayStation or torque?
The choice between these two Fanatec bases turns on an unusual question, because they are not aimed at the same machine.
The GT DD Pro, 499.95 euros and 8 Nm, is Fanatec's official entry point on PlayStation. The ClubSport DD, 599.95 euros and 15 Nm, does not work on a Sony console but is rated at almost twice the torque for a hundred euros more.
If your platform is settled, the comparison ends there: on PlayStation, the ClubSport DD is out of the question. On PC, the GT DD Pro has no argument left, since the CSL DD offers the same 8 Nm for 70 euros less.
Owners of existing wheels can be reassured: both have used QR2 since the range moved to FullForce, so a rim bought for one fits the other.

Verdict
Choose the GT DD Pro if you play on PlayStation. That criterion decides, and torque comes after.
Choose the ClubSport DD if you are on PC and aim for single-seaters or heavy-steering cars, with a rig that can take 15 Nm.
We have tried neither. The torque figures quoted are the ones Fanatec puts in its product names.
