MOZA unveils its first officially licensed PlayStation 5 range

On 17 September 2026, at the Tokyo Game Show, MOZA Racing announced its first three products under official PlayStation 5 licence: the R5S Pro Racing Simulator, the R16S Ultra Racing Simulator and the R16S Ultra Direct Drive base. The brand also announced native support for Gran Turismo 7, developed with Polyphony Digital.

It is the first time MOZA has cleared the PlayStation licence barrier. Until now, its bases worked on PC and, for some of them, on Xbox. A PS5 owner had to turn to the few brands holding the Sony licence.

The question comes up with every announcement of this kind, and the answer does not change: console compatibility does not depend on the USB port but on an authentication chip built into the hardware. No software update makes a PC base PlayStation compatible. That is why MOZA is releasing three new products instead of opening up its existing range.

The R5S Pro is a complete bundle, with base, wheel and pedals in a single box. The R16S Ultra Racing Simulator pairs the R16S base with a wheel. The R16S Ultra base is sold on its own, for owners who already have compatible MOZA wheels.

MOZA had not given a price or a European release date at the time of the announcement. The prices on our product pages come from the offers we record at retailers, with their date, and none is open yet for these three products.
