Simagic itself advises most buyers against its MagLink Pro Xtend adapter
The 89 dollar adapter makes an Alpha base compatible with Zeus wheels. Simagic writes that it only makes sense for owners of several Zeus wheels.
On 25 June 2026, Simagic presented the MagLink Pro Xtend, an adapter announced at 89 dollars that makes an Alpha base compatible with wheels from the Zeus and Neo ranges. The manufacturer's announcement is unusual: it starts by explaining who the product is not for.
The adapter mounts on the base rather than on each wheel. A single MagLink Pro then connects to it, and it serves all of the collector's wheels.
The only case where it makes sense
Simagic sets two conditions, both required: owning an Alpha base, and owning more than one Zeus wheel that you swap between. A driver who alternates between a Formula for single-seaters and a Sport for drift saves buying one adapter per wheel.
With a single Zeus wheel, the manufacturer points to the standard MagLink Pro.
Why this announcement is worth passing on
