Wheel bases

In a wheel base, the steering wheel is mounted directly on the motor shaft. No belt, no gears between the force being generated and your hands.

The most visible figure is peak torque, expressed in newton-metres. It is not the whole story: fidelity, latency and how the unit holds up as it heats matter just as much. Past 8 Nm, how the base is bolted down decides more than the base itself.
