F1 Sim Racing World Championship

Format

Twelve rounds spread over four in-person events. Each round runs practice, qualifying and a race over 50% of a Grand Prix distance, on identical simulators for the whole field. Two titles are awarded: drivers and teams.

Every driver races for the sim racing team of a Formula 1 team, and their points count towards both their own title and their team. They are sim racers, not Grand Prix drivers: races are held in person, on identical simulators for the whole field.

The 2026 season brought nine teams together over twelve rounds, with a $750,000 prize pool. Fanatec was a partner, alongside Aramco and AWS.

Frederik Rasmussen won the 2023-2024 season. Jarno Opmeer took a record third title in 2025. Otis Lawrence became the youngest champion in the series in 2026, aged 18.
