A discount brought to around 10%

Next to each bundle, Fanatec shows an original price: the sum of its components sold individually. For the CSL DD Ready2Race 5 Nm, that is 569.85 euros, made up of the CSL DD 5 Nm base at 329.95 euros, the CSL P1 V2 wheel at 139.95 euros and the CSL pedals at 99.95 euros. The displayed discount is therefore 59.90 euros. As of 6 October, fifteen of the seventeen bundles we checked sell for 10 to 10.5% below their original price. The ClubSport Rally and Drift bundles are the exceptions, at close to 14%.

According to Univers Simu, Fanatec explained on Reddit that it had aligned the discount on its Ready2Race and cockpit bundles at around 10% of the components' value, where it used to vary widely from one bundle to another. The site also reports that the CSL DD Table Clamp desk mount, sold for 54.95 euros on its own, has been added to the bundles concerned. The 5 Nm bundle page does list it in the box contents, without counting it in the original price.

What this changes for a first purchase

The 5 Nm bundle remains the cheapest of the complete Fanatec direct drive bundles our catalogue follows. The gap with buying the parts separately has narrowed, however: it reached 159.90 euros on 20 September, while Fanatec now shows it at 59.90 euros, desk mount included. Our review of the 5 Nm bundle uses these prices, and its value score drops from 8.5 to 7.5.

At 509.95 euros, the bundle also goes over the budget of our 500-euro build. The MOZA R5 Pro, at 419 euros with its clamp, takes its place, and the Fanatec bundle remains the alternative.

These prices are those of Fanatec's European store, read on the bundle pages on 20 September and then on 6 October 2026.
